    I Liked the Original Better because it was special to me at the time and had a very good plot.
    Although Simba' Pride was good I think everyone is going to pick the first movie.

    Yeah, the original movie has better movie and is more well know... It was the #1 Movie of the box office at the time while SP was only a Direct to Video Release. Also The Lion King is more well know, when ever I make a SP reference in my school everyone is like " What" because they never say the movie.

    I didn't forget it, The Lion King 1 1/2 (International Title being Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata) was a parody of the Lion King and although it was good it was just a parody. I was comparing Full Feature Length Movies :-)

    Lion King 1 definalty

    -Music Composed then none other then the great Hans Zimmer
    -More famous voices (Jerermy ions, Whoopi Goldberg, Rowan Atkinson)
    -Better animation, and first movie to ever use such in depth CGI assisted animation (stampede scene)
    -Lion king set so many new records (pumba was the first ever disney charaacter to have flatulance, Muafasa was the first main goodie character to die. and i could go on and on
    -The story line is so much better then Simba's pride
    -Simba's pride was poorly written, poorly animated and Rowan Atkinson didnt voice zazu which was a big letdown
    -Only thing I appreciate about Simba's pride, was the Music written and sung by Lebo M ("he lives in you" being my favourite). and its a sequal to a awsome film,


    But please dont get me started on Lion king 3 Hakuna Matata (Lion king 1.5 To some). The only thing i liked about that film was the short scene where Simba was adolescent, besides that, i dont even want to class Lion King 3 as being in the Lion King family ><

    I could not agree more the Lion King 1 1/2 was a total disgrace to the Lion King family if they thought that was a substitute for a third film they must be crazy!

    The thing about the Lion King 1 1/2 is that you have to take it as it. Its just a parody and when you watch it and expect that then its funny :-) It wasn't meant to be a the third lion king movie , it was just made to entertain :-)

    The original was brilliant. The music was some of the best Disney has ever made for their animated films. I'm sorry, but the sequels just don't have it when compared to the original masterpiece.

    But The Lion King II was better than most of Disney's DTV sequels, so I wouldn't consider it a rip-off.
